ROLE:                   CONSTRUCTION SITE MANAGER – RESIDENTIAL SECTOR

LOCATION:            WEST YORKSHIRE

START DATE:          SEPTEMBER 2022

THE ROLE:     

We are looking for an experienced Site Manager to lead, manage and coordinate the activities and subcontractors on-site to meet the programme of works.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Working with the Commercial Manager and the Construction Team, you will be working on a development of 30 new build houses in Skelmanthorpe initially
  • Management, co-ordination and delivery of the project, operatives, subcontractors, materials and for ensuring that it runs to the agreed timescales
  • Reviewing drawings and ensuring Subcontractors complete works as per the design requirements
  • Monitoring team performance for both direct and subcontractor employees
  • Production of weekly reports against forecast
  • Providing a safe working environment by adhering to the strict health and safety procedures
  • Delivery of site inductions
  • Completion of daily site documentation

SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES

  • A minimum of 5 years residential new build experience
  • 3-5 years Site Manager experience
  • Site based qualifications necessary to carry out the role
    • SMSTS (essential)
    • First Aid (essential)  
  • Ability to communicate professionally
  • Self-motivated and ambitious
  • Able to work as part of a team and independently including setting and managing own tasks
  • Full UK Driving License

DESIRABLE

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Projects

SALARY AND BENEFITS

  • Full Time – 37.5 hours a week
  • Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
