Yorkshire Country Properties (YCP) is a well-established, fast-growing and innovative residential developer based in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire.

With a reputation for building desirable homes, we pride ourselves on our attention to detail and quality craftsmanship, which are hallmarks of our success.

With over 90 homes currently under construction across three sites and a pipeline of over 500 homes to come throughout Yorkshire, we are looking for a Sales Negotiator to assist the Head of Sales, as YCP continues its journey of growth and success.

What we’re looking for in the ideal candidate:

  • Experience working in a customer service role

  • 1-2 years’ experience in new homes sales

  • Excellent organisation and communication skills

  • Reliable

  • Immaculate presentation

  • Commercially astute and driven

  • Proficient in using Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

  • Full UK driving licence

Responsibilities:

  • Provide an excellent customer-focused front-line service along with managing the customer journey from enquiry through to completion

  • Represent YCP to the highest professional standards of business, at all times, in all our customer sees, hears and feels

  • Astute assessment of potential customer interest, viability, requirements, and budget. Presenting the unique selling points when buying a YCP home, to match their detailed criteria

  • Thorough market research of the local area and amenities; presenting the specific advantages of buying at one of our YCP developments

  • Thorough knowledge of the local competition; their product, prices and marketing strategy

  • Effective follow-up of all enquiries

  • Getting to know your customer and identifying their needs. Having the ability to upsell on additional extras to create their dream home

  • Awareness of the legal and construction processes, from reservation to completion;

  • Keeping the customer informed at every stage

  • Maintaining accurate records using the company CRM system

  • Internal weekly sales reporting

Salary and benefits:

  • Full-time – 37.5 hours a week (including weekend hours)

  • Salary negotiable depending on experience

  • Car allowance

  • 25 days annual leave, with an additional 8 statutory days
